Hi all,
I never really thought about it before but even though I do have a man in my life, when I go out anywhere in particular, whether its a nightclub or watching a motorbike rider ride past, i tend to have these thoughts of a guy that is so stunning and so for me but get disappointed when its not the case. I have a not-so-clear image in my head but I know in my gut what and who it is, just haven't found him.
Its weird but its happened for such a long while that I'm beginning to wonder if its got to be a connection to the past that i have absolutely no idea about.
any ideas?

Hi Libran Yes it could well be, but even soul mates don't have to be of the same sex, in fact you'll probably find a better match between 2 people of the same sex.
Even people we have short term contact with can be from a past life, what I find fascinating about all this, is being in the right place at the right time, there has to be some sort of cosmic map or plan.

| Please dont get me wrong - i love my guy but its like maybe the one i keep visualising is the 'one' and have a connection with - it could be also wishful thinking but like i said it has happened so long that im wondering if its my mate of the past thats resurfacing in my memory and im searching for him? I'm not questioning the 'soul mate' because anything is possible but this issue is too close to the heart to ignore and need to find the answers if possible.

Most of the beautiful people that i have been so blessed to meet are the most wonderful souls imaginable   
I believe that we meet people who are correct for our own soul, i feel this with a member of this site , even though she lives all the way in the U.S.A the moment i got chatting to her i felt as though i had known her forever ((((((((((((Genes))))))))
She is sooooooooooooo special to me, like she's my soulmate/my soul sister, i can't imagine not knowing her or having her in my life now she means soo much to me.((((((i love you genes)))))))
There's another lady on this site too of who'm i feel a soul connection with(((((((((Lyndi))))))))))))))))) she's sooo special to me, i can't imagine life without her now, my days are filled with such an immence happiness when she's around(((i love you lyndi)))she brings sunshine into my soul
It seems to me that if this image is a permenent image and has been happening for quite a long time then there must be a reason as to why you are being shown this, maybe this is a connection from the past, maybe even a past life connection
I would be inclined to keep a record of the visions or impressions that you are being shown,one day you may well literally just bump into this person.

i know that all that we meet is a connection to the past but this image has been strong for a long time and it has to mean something!!! My boyfriend's niece when she was 2-3 years of age told his mum that her mum was her best friend and her uncle (my man) was a rich man!!!! No mention of me as I came into her life 2-3 years later (8yrs ago). I really don't know my blue print and don't know if my man is the one im to spend my life with but the images tell a different story. Maybe its an expectation on my part, i dont know.
i have yet to meet a person that i have an instant connection although i do recall meeting a guy some years back through a friend who i was just able to talk to him like as if i knew him forever - he said the same thing but i never met him again and my friend told me he got married sometime ago to a girl his parents disapproved of.
i must say though thats its interesting because its also trying to interpret things and whether theyre a part of our consciousness or subconscious and what is real or memory.

This is a fascinating subject. It maybe that you are subconciously acknowledging that the man in your life is not your soulmate, but then that does not mean you cannot have a lifetime of love and happiness with your man. Few of us are lucky enough to be paired with our soul mates in this life - I certainly wasn't!!
As (((((angel))))) says, when she and I first met there was an instant connection, - it was weird really. What made it stranger was that I had shown my daughter a photo of angel prior to my visit, and she had asked 'what makes me feel I know her?'
When I showed angel a photo of my daughter she instantly said 'I know her'. Prior to this I have always been one of those who subscribed to the 'having a common face' theory, rather than the fact that I may have lived on the earth plane before!! And I have no wish to try regression in order to test the theory.
My sister met a man who she believes now was her soulmate. She always says about their friendship 'another time, another place, and who knows'
He was much older than her, married and he became terminally ill. She was the only person other than his wife who he trusted to sit with him when he was so ill. They spent many hours together as he lay dying, and talked about so many spiritual things, including how he would try to prove to her that there was life after death, and also promised to send her someone very special.
Not long after he passed, a man came into my sister's life - and to me they appear to be soulmates. He is so like her old friend in many ways, and she is truly convinced that he sent him! They have been together for seven years now, and she rang me this weekend to tell me they are getting married later this month!! 
She feels her old friend is around her, and knows he is happy for her.

Like Dean Martin says - 'Somewhere theres a someone for everyone...' and that is very true.
I'm sure, whatever happens, the pieces of the puzzle will come together, including the 'handsome guy' images I keep getting. It may make little sense now but may make a big sense later on (que sera sera).

I think that if we meet our 'soulmate' in our life time then we have truly been 'blessed',most people never feel as though they have truly met their soulmate
But i believe that soulmates come in many forms,partners,friends i even believe that animals are brought to us because we are correct for them((((((((( Lucky))))))))))))
I had a dog that passed over called*Sandie* i believe she was brought to me, but when she passed i cried for at least 6 months every single day,i grieved sooooo deeply, and just thinking of her makes me cry

oh well I'm one of the few...still searching for my soul mate...but like Angel..I was definately meant to have my dog..I love her soooo much..infact I was only thinking tonight, when the two of us were snuggled up on the couch ..that I don't need a man really..just me and my lovely Lucy..will do me just fine!

Yes - Pets are the best - I have my 2 dogs here at home - my rotti and maltese and they are such good friends and at my man's place i have 2 cats  and I love them all dearly!!!
I thought when I got my maltese that he would disrupt my life pattern but it was the other way around - I keep telling him I wouldn't trade him for the world!!!!
So if the images are my soulmate or someone connected to me in the past and not my man, I don't care, as long as I have my pets, I'm happy!!!
And I'm happy with my life - will start a job soon and hopefully everything will fall in place. I have a cousin on my dad's side who's getting married and because they have the sicilian culture in them ( i took after my mum's side) they keep pestering me when I'm going to get married!! I'll be the only girl on that side of the family who hasn't been married, but I don't want to be hassled - its my choice and it doesn't fit into my plans right now and i find it highly unnecessary!! (no offense to those married as this is about me and how i feel) - thats why I wonder about these images.

I never thought that i would have met my 'SOULMATE' in this life time but i did, but i can't actually say that i was conciously looking to find my soulmate ,one day out of the blue and very unexpected i just got talking to him and we soon realised that there was a very,very special connection and bond that melded our souls together in unison.

Ok, this is my theory, and its a little bit farfetched, but I'm still going to say it :)
I believe we have more than one soulmate...
I knew how the man i was going to marry looked like...he would have, dark brown hair, dark brown eyes and a gottee...i knew the shape of his face...although dont ask me to describe it...i never put the features together though...when i saw him in a picture..i knew...when i met him in person, i knew...i didnt tell him, because he would have run for the woods...lol...Just to let you know....we met online, i lived in Canada, and he lived in Australia.... i guess we both had to be a little bit nuts to make that work...but we have
Ok, on to the reason why i think we have more than one soulmate ...i had a very strong connection with my ex....we dated for 3-4 years...but he had a very difficult character that i couldnt deal with...we would be on and off again, sometimes months at a time...but still, we would get back together....to this day, even though im married and love my hubby more than i can say...that link is still there...i can feel his emotions, as if they were my own...and i know i was with him in a past life as there is no other explanation for it...
